*Hi,*

*Back in February, I was eagerly learning how to “prompt properly”. Hacks with structured ways and key words such as “ACCURACY IS CRITICAL” to write prompts and speak in “AI-Native” such that the we could get LLMs to do what we want. Last week I cancelled my Claude account, now using OpenAI as my main and dabbling in Kimi. Looking back at some of the prompts I was learning to write earlier year compared to what’s required now provides perspective on how quickly AI has evolved.*

*Is the AI getting smarter? Yes, but perhaps not in the way you think. The “smartness” is coming not from greater compute, but thru the transfer of our *[tacit knowledge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacit_knowledge)* to the LLMs. ****What is tacit knowledge? ****Quintessentially, it’s the IP of “our process to get a job done”. Some of this should be ceded to AI as it increases convenience, but there’s a fine line between convenience and when we start ceding what is industry standard vs. proprietary process (and thus knowledge).
How can we optimise our workflow to optimise for AI whilst retaining our tacit knowledge. In the last few weeks I’ve been spending time with ****Decidr.AI (ASX:DAI)**** (who put out this great read on *[The State of AI in Australian Business 2026](https://www.decidr.ai/state-of-ai-in-australian-business)*) on how… watch this space.*

**Idea of the week:*** Last month we *[initiated coverage](https://homodeus.one/research/report/imricor-medical-systems-imr-ax-twenty-year-moat-initiation-coverage)* on ****Imricor (ASX:IMR)****, a company in the early stages of commercialising two decades of R&D. Last week *[IMR announced 1H26 results](https://homodeus.one/research/report/imricor-medical-systems-imr-ax-ready-to-rebound-company-report)*. One major milestone during the half being their first two U.S. customers in the last few weeks. We think Imricor has now reached the inflection point and forecast a rebound in 2H revenues ****(Fig 1)**** and a multi-year growth trajectory beyond 2026 ****(Fig 2)****. This comes at a time when *[Philips has had to issue recalls for thousands of interventional fluoroscopy systems.](https://radiologybusiness.com/topics/medical-imaging/interventional-radiology/philips-issue-corrections-thousands-interventional-fluoroscopy-systems)* (the technology IMR is displacing), which**** ****could be a chance for them to gain a head start on rollout! More details on IMR outlook in our report: *[Imricor (ASX:IMR): Ready to Rebound](https://homodeus.one/research/report/imricor-medical-systems-imr-ax-ready-to-rebound-company-report)

**NEWS THIS WEEK**

- Tech1 (ASX:TNE) has partnered with Inverclyde Council to deliver a cloud-based finance systems upgrade, aiming to support more efficient and modern services for its 78,000 residents. Source: [UK Authority](https://www.ukauthority.com/articles/inverclyde-begin-saas-finance-transformation) HD View: Inverclyde is a small council by UK standards and one of Scotland’s smallest (28th largest out of 32 councils), but a win nonetheless.
- 4DMedical (ASX:4DX) attended Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting, showcasing how 4DMedical is helping advance cardiopulmonary imaging. - Oneview (ASX:ONE) Healthcare Doesn't Have an AI Problem - It Has a Capacity Problem. Source: [Oneview](https://www.oneviewhealthcare.com/blog/healthcare-capacity-problem-ai/) HD View: A great opinion piece which really resonates with my experience. When it comes to HC, it’s about quality not quantity

- Philips to issue corrections for thousands of interventional fluoroscopy systems. Source: [Rad Biz](https://radiologybusiness.com/topics/medical-imaging/interventional-radiology/philips-issue-corrections-thousands-interventional-fluoroscopy-systems) HD View: We estimate this is ~30-40% of US installed base. With [Philips Compatibility Declaration](https://homodeus.one/research/report/imricor-medical-systems-imr-ax-philips-tam-unlocked-event-note) for Imricor (ASX:IMR) use, this could be a chance for them to gain a head start on rollout!
- AI chip maker SambaNova raises $1B at $11B valuation, 5 months after last mega round. Alongside the new funding, SambaNova said it has been selected by JPMorganChase as an “inference-infrastructure partner,” with its SN40L and SN50 systems set to power secure, on-premises AI inference at the bank. Source [TechCrunch](https://techcrunch.com/2026/07/08/sambanova-draws-1b-at-11b-valuation-in-series-f-first-close/) HD View: Good vote of confidence for SambaNova; private company so limited knowledge.Provides positive read-thru for upcoming listing SCX.ai (ASX:SCX) who use the same chips. To my knowledge JPM has been one of the IBs who have been investing more in AI than the others.
- NSW's New Data Centre Framework: Why SCX Was Already Ahead of the Curve: The NSW Government has just launched a new framework that changes the rules for data centre development in this state. For SCX.ai (ASX:SCX) , this announcement is a validation of our vision for high performance, efficient and sovereign AI. Source: [SCX.ai](https://scx.ai/resources/nsw-data-centre-framework-scx-ahead)

Source: [AFR](https://www.afr.com/technology/anthropic-s-quarterly-revenue-surges-to-more-than-16b-20260815-p60okf) HD View: the y-y jump should be no surprise given how nascent AI was a year, back. I’ve personally just cancelled my Claude subscription last week. Mainly using OpenAI now while dabbling in Kimi…
- OpenAI and Anthropic in price war as Chinese AI rivals gain ground: Leading US AI labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic are releasing cheaper models as they fight to retain cost-conscious customers who are switching to cut-price alternatives from Chinese rivals. - Canva’s big backers slash $10b from software giant amid AI pivot.
