From SaaS-pocalypse to just Apolcalypse

*Hi,*

*Forget about destroying SaaS. What about humanity as we know it? The topic has been propelled back into the limelight in the last couple of weeks after *[Jacob Coxon](https://www.wsj.com/tech/ai/anthropic-researcher-quits-over-out-of-control-ai-fears-707b7628)* quit Anthropic stating that top artificial intelligence labs are "gambling with our lives" in a reckless race toward self-improving superintelligence. Beyond Jacob’s *[CNN interview](https://youtu.be/i30jVPqQeOM?si=qPJT7lbh8GiHFlWd)*, I felt *[MIT Tech Review’s roundtable](https://vimeo.com/1227055362)* was a good summary of where the world stands; AFR also had a good write-up and with a great David Rowe cartoon (see below).*
